American Worker Shortage Causes Basic Services To Break Down Nationwide...

What happened to all of those extra workers? They certainly aren’t on unemployment, because claims for unemployment benefits are the lowest that we have seen “in decades”. So where are they? It is almost as if millions upon millions of people have disappeared from the system completely over the past couple of years.

Why don't businesses start paying more? I work 60 hours a week and I still can't provide for my family the way my father could. If you do the math on inflation and cost of living, boomers and genx made at least double the current wages, for the same jobs. I'm not bitter at those generations for being paid more. Yet, it's a simple fact that they were. It's common sense that if you reduce wages by 50%, you will have less worker participation.
